Our wooden soap dish is a simple, natural way to keep your handmade soap dry between uses.
Red alder is a lighter weight wood very similar in density to poplar. Alder has a beautiful red wood grain very similar in color to cherry wood

Care Instructions: Using soap dishes in pairs can significantly prolong their lifespan. Use one dish for 2 - 3 weeks, wipe it clean, and allow it to dry while using the second dish. This rotation prevents mold, mildew and soap scum, extending the life of both your soap and soap dish.
The Boardwalk Soap Dish is sized at 2.75" x 4" x .75", and is made to hold a standard bar of soap.
